TKS Logo Contest Results!
Thank you to everyone who made submissions to the TKS Logo Contest which finished on August 31 2009!
All of them were displayed at the September 2009 TKS Oasis event, where the judging and winner selection was done. The submissions were all very very good, it was very hard to decide a winner with all the great art shown that evening!
And now the result of the judging...
The winning logo was submitted by the artist: " Akira " ! and is the letters of the organization in the form of twisted hemp bondage rope!
Congratulations to her, she wins the prize money and tickets to the 2009 Japan Fetish Ball! Her Logo will appear once the TKS site is revised shortly after Japan Fetish Ball is over! Before that, we will be putting all the submissions in the TKS photo gallery shortly, so everyone can see all the great artwork which was submitted!
Thank you again to everyone who submitted logos to the contest, and all the staff members who assisted in the difficult tasks of judging all the great entrants!

two successful years, the thought-provoking art exhibit
"Beautified Taboo" goes into its third year.
Each year, a new set of 12 Artists are invited to showcase a multi-layered + multi-cultured world of taboos in beautified ways. Emerging and established artists from different backgrounds and art disciplines, explore and share their interpretations of taboos.
This eclectic collection of controversial art works will encompass taboo topics such as blasphemy, sexism, prostitution, cultism and cannibalism, depicted in a fashion-related manner in forms of suggestive photography, live and interactive fashion installations.
Each year, a new set of 12 Artists are invited to showcase a multi-layered + multi-cultured world of taboos in beautified ways. Emerging and established artists from different backgrounds and art disciplines, explore and share their interpretations of taboos.

What a blowout
party! It was big! it was loud! the shows rocked! there
were screams in the dungeon all night among the lights and
lasers!... it was awesome!
Held this year in the vast halls of the Shinjuku Christon Cafe in central Tokyo, thank you to everyone who performed, attended and played a part in the record smashing 2009 Japan Fetish Ball!
In spite of the current bad economic times, the 2009 JFB moved to our largest venue yet, broke all previous TKS event attendance records, and hosted a record number of shops (20 independent fashion designers artists and shops!), as well as a half dozen shows, and the largest playroom we ever had at any TKS event (or any event in Japan for that matter)! This was also the first time we had seperated smoking and non-smoking areas at JFB, a system that worked very well and will return next year as well!
There were visitors and performers from all over the world including Korea, the United States, Australia and various places from Europe, flying in for Asia's largest and most extravagent annual Fetish Ball! Thank you to everyone who came, and to the lovely Midori who put time in her busy schedule to come all the way from her base in San Francisco to participate in her first Asian fetish party (seems she was in the playroom most of the evening..sasu-ga)!
Yuji Ueno san's show was shocking (in more ways than one!), Tokyo Dolores were beautiful in artistic expression, DV8House brought the spell of overseas hard rigging in a Japan debut, and the lovely Ageha dazzled audiences with a magnificent aerial dance performance!
Musically, Rose Noire, DJ Mistress Maya, A04 and (debuting for JFB) Medical from Tokyo Dolores, kept the beats and music flowing through the evening and the dance floors pumping all night!
Thank you as well to FlyFlyFly, Kokekakiki and DRXS for their exciting visuals the entire evening on the two giant video screens! And thank you to our two lovely Sheesha ladies the exquisitely dressed Haruka and the slinky sexy dressed Topaz, TKS pole dancers Keiko, Mippo, Lisa and Yoko who were hot hot hot the entire evening and the lovely TKS campaign girls, gogo dancers and mistresses including Torturegarden's Naomi, TKS Maria and others who were entertaining in the playroom and main floor all night long!
Thank you to the three art installations this year, by Romantica, Seventh Sin and X-Bodypainting, showing beautiful works of photography and living art, and to studio photographers Kousuke, Holger and David Stetson!
And last but not least, thank you to all shopkeepers, TKS, Christon Cafe staff and volunteers and attendees for bringing Asia's largest and most exciting fetish ball back for 2009 and making such an awesome event possible!
Next event is TKS Underground (2010 early winter) and Japan Fetish Ball returns in Fall 2010!

JFB moves to Shinjuku!
As last year's
Ball completely filled the Shibuya Christon Cafe to capacity,
we are moving this year to the Christon Cafe in Shinjuku, which is over
twice as large! This will ensure short drink and cloak lines as well as
make
a great space for all the stage shows, shops, playroom and art
exhibitions!

As in earlier this year's TKS
Underground, the will be a seperated smoking
area (large lounge and upstairs Mezzanine with stage view!) in the JFB
to
ensure the air is clean in the main show hall for guests and rubber
costumes
that do not wish to be near any smoke!

TKS Logo Contest Results!
Thank you to everyone who made submissions to the TKS Logo Contest which finished on August 31 2009!
All of them were displayed at the September 2009 TKS Oasis event, where the judging and winner selection was done. The submissions were all very very good, it was very hard to decide a winner with all the great art shown that evening!
And now the result of the judging...
The winning logo was submitted by the artist: " Akira " ! and is the letters of the organization in the form of twisted hemp bondage rope!
Congratulations to her, she wins the prize money and tickets to the 2009 Japan Fetish Ball! Her Logo will appear once the TKS site is revised shortly after Japan Fetish Ball is over! Before that, we will be putting all the submissions in the TKS photo gallery shortly, so everyone can see all the great artwork which was submitted!

After a two year absence, THE GATE returned to the Tokyo Fetish scene on June 13, 2009 at Shibuya's SECO BAR!
Thank you to everyone making this a packed and successful event! DJ's AMD and A04 rocked the house with industrial House, and the evening marked a debut of the dance group 'Romantica' with an arial acrobatics and dance routine that was innovative and beautiful! Body painting artist Jajyu, showed a beautiful display of body-art on 6 models, complete with a fire-dance and UV accent lighting to show hidden images in the models body art as they moved throughout the club! Bravo! The Cleopatra Dance Troupe and our own TKS Oasis Pole Dance girls team enlightened the audience with Bellydance and sexy Poledancing throughout the evening! Closing with the finale was a rope suspension show by bondage mistress Kazumi Osada, bringing to THE GATE the true Japanese nawashi underground!
Thank you to all TKS staff who helped run the event, to everyone that made the playroom dungeon such a lively place as well as to everyone who attended! Thank you as well to the staff of SECO bar, who were very kind, professional and thoughtful throughout the entire evening!

As the Shibuya Christon Cafe was filled to capacity at last year's 2008 JFB, we are moving this year to Shinjuku which has double the capacity! This will ensure that there will be enough room for everyone to enter, and have enough space without overcrowding to enjoy the dungeon playroom area, shops, fashion area and of course to be able to see all the great stage shows and performances!

Our condolences..
It is with great regret to announce that one of our TKS staff members, Howard, has recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
Howard had been with TKS since the early days years ago, and assisted us on staff at the door at most of our events as well as on the construction setup and takedown teams during many of our parties and lounges.
He was well known and well liked in TKS and will be deeply missed by all of us.

Thank you to everyone who came to TKS Underground on March 1, 2008 at KissaGinza in Ebisu! This was a more private hardcore underground DJ, fetish and SM playspace party held in a smaller club setting than our ordinary larger events! A few photos taken outside the club (TKS Underground is a no photo event space) are in the picture gallery!
DJ's A04 and Khimaira brought down the house with their exciting Electro, Techno and goth mixes, and there was wild dance and play in the dungeon all night long (especially a few of the new M ladies and mistresses!).
Thank you to Seiken for an exciting dance show (especially the surprise ending!) and also to Mistress Hijiri and Slave Lisa for a beautiful lady-on-lady human ikebana flower show (and it was impressive to see Mistress Hijiri carry Slave Lisa in her arms across the stage, while wearing 20cm heels on her feet! What a lady!). It was great to see so many stylish guys and ladies throughout the club during the evening!
Thank you also to the very sexy dancers and M girls who made a lovely impromptu show in the dance and dungeon play area late in the night!
Note: (to 1 or 2 of the guys especially), the dresscode will be stricter next time, please ensure you are dressed properly as Fetish, SM, Cosplay, or other exciting body fashion / bodyart or you will not get in!

2007 was a very big year for Tokyo Kink Society!
Thank you to all Staff, Artists, Performers and Guests who contributed so much to TKS over the past 12 months to make so many exciting events. Without you, it would not have been possible to make TKS one of the largest and most active BDSM / fetish groups in the orient!
Many things happened this year including the launch of two new events! TKS Underground, a more private, smaller BDSM dungeon playparty, as well as the Japan Fetish Ball, a large scale international fetish event were both held for the first time this year. These are in addition to our other events, THE GATE and TKS Lounge, which are still ongoing on a regular scheduled basis.
2007 was also the year that TKS broke through the mass media in a big way. Articles about TKS and the Japan Fetish Ball appeared in the print magazine 'Sniper', and Tokyo filming was completed in late 2007 for a feature covering Tokyo Kink Society and Japanese rope bondage that will appear nationwide across the United States on a major US national Cable TV network in early 2008. Thank you to our models and performers who appeared in this feature!
It was also a big year personally for a number of our models and campaign staff as well. Our sexy and lovely ladies Mistress Hijiri and Mistress Maria both appeared nationally in print magazines 'Eve' as well as 'Sniper', with the very attractive Maria appearing as the magazine covergirl in seperate issues of both magazines and DVD sets!
Finally, several TKS members produced and filmed the ero-art work "Chiisaki-Tou"! This film was funded by the Tokyo Kink Society along with volunteer help of the membership, and is now running in film festivals around Japan.
It was a fantastic 2007! Thank you again to all artists, staff, performers and especially guests who made it our best year ever!

The 2007 Japan Fetish Ball, produced by Tokyo Kink Society was held in Tokyo's club CUBE-326. Known as GOLD during the 1980s, this club was the center of the bodycon era and the wild excesses of the Japan bubble decade! Now in the current decade this same club is the center of Fetish fashion, SM and style hosting the 2007 Japan Fetish Ball.
Spanning multiple floors, counting a large dungeon playroom floor, several stages and over 40 shops, galleries, shows and other attractions, the Japan Fetish Ball sold out all advanced tickets and broke all records, becoming the biggest event ever produced by the Tokyo Kink Society to date and the largest fetish dresscode event ever to take place anywhere in the orient!
Play in the dungeon, as well as shows, music, and video art went on through the night, making the Japan Fetish Ball a truly fantasy magical space right until the next morning. Not surprisingly, this safe friendly atmosphere once again led to women outnumbering men at this event!
Debuting for the first time at this years Japan Fetish Ball was the new TKS Dance Pole area, a stage Go-Go dancer cage (with Go-Go dancers including the lovely TKS dancer Maria, who graced the front cover of this month's "Sniper", Japan's largest print fetish magazine!). In addition, a new Sheesha water tobacco area opened for the first time in one of the art gallery relaxation spaces, providing an exotic middle-east oriental feel to the event!
Thank you to all our artists, dancers and to very lovely fetish models and performers including Miss Omega, Juta, Natasha DeViant and Diva Izazella who visited us all the way from Europe! And most of all, thank you to the hundreds of guests who came to the Ball, both from Japan and from overseas!

Featuring the entire dungeon equipment set from THE GATE (well, what we
could fit in the club anyways), this party was one of the most exciting
ever held by TKS and brought back the days of the smaller and more
intimate events we held years ago.
TKS
Underground was held in Ebisu's STARDUST club, a very cool castle
dungeon style club with stone walls, long chains and European glass
chandelliers, all located secretly under the Yamanote line tracks
facing the very posh Ebisu Garden Place shopping promenade.
In
spite of an intentional lack of publicity and intentionally smaller
more intimate space, approximately 100 people of Japan's hardest
players came before we had to close the doors! DJ's A04 and Young
Richard rocked the house till the morning while guests played in the
dungeon (and on the bar counters) until 6AM the next morning at Japan's
hardest core SM fetish party!
Performers
who appeared on stage at TKS Underground included a future fetish dance
by Seiken, SM Bondage by Mistress Hijiri and Slave Lisa, and a Neo
Cyber art dance by the always lovely ViVi!

Unlike our large flagship party THE GATE, TKS Underground is an intentionally raw, darker, smaller and more intimate SM Fetish party, reflecting back on smaller TKS events and home parties of several years ago.
With no shops, galleries or large crowds, TKS Underground's theme focuses on Electrogoth & Dark Trance DJ Music in a smaller intimate club setting with performances and a dungeon area themed on underground fetish & SM.
TKS Underground has a strict SM fetish dresscode (this means that if you are not dressed appropriately, you cannot enter).
No photography or video is allowed inside the club.
Special Entrance Policy
- TKS Underground Night will run till at least 5AM. However so that TKS / THE GATE staff can also enjoy the party, the door and general admission gate will close at 2AM!
- So to enter TKS
Underground, **You must arrive at the door by 2AM**. There is no
entrance or re-entrance after 2AM. Those inside by 2AM may stay until
the party finishes at 5AM (or later).
- (Professional Dominatrixes, dancers and SM / bar hostesses are exempted from the above. They may arrive anytime during the night, even after 2AM and will be allowed into the party at the professionals and staff entrance.)

Now and then, people ask about how Tokyo Kink Society is run or how decisions about the club and its events are made!
Now is your chance to find out everything you ever wanted to know about TKS!, as this month at TKSLounge, we will be doing the 2006 annual review of the club over the past year. We will go over its operations and finances, look at how past events went, and prepare a schedule, budget and ideas for 2007!
Please join us to ask questions, let us know what you think, and give us ideas to make 2007 an even more exciting year for the club!
About TKS:
TKS was created in order to promote BDSM and open minded events in Tokyo and had its first club event on November 29, 2003! Thank you to all of you who helped TKS since those very early days! More recently, TKS has grown rapidly, and today runs some of Asia's largest and most well known dresscoded BDSM fetish events!
TKS is an open non-profit society. The staff and management committee of TKS are volunteers and are unpaid for their work. As a result, TKS relies on input from all its volunteers, guests, performers and members to help run the club, its events, and to provide guidance to the management committee regarding the future direction of TKS.
In addition, all aspects of management and finances of the club are open and can be examined by any members, staff, performers or any others involved in TKS at any time. If you wish to understand more about any aspects of how TKS is run, or would like to add your ideas to make TKS even better, please come to this month's TKSLounge, or if you cannot, talk directly to Charm
or to anyone on the management committee of TKS at any time. We would love to hear from you and listen to your suggestions to make TKS even better!
This month's TKSLounge is Nov 10, 9PM @ Club Rarau in Roppongi. Rarau charges to use their club, the cost is 1000yen entrance and 1drink (around 800yen) to the club. (Note: we are working with Rarau to get them to reduce their prices to our visitors for future lounges. More news when we hear it from Rarau..)

Club-M was a great venue for this much larger party. The dark-alley "village square" look upstairs was great, and all the dark corners in that club were so exciting! It was an enchanting evening, with hundreds of people attending, another THE GATE record! We look forward to returning to Club-M again for our next party in summer 2006!

Improvements!
Several improvements were made to the TKS chat and matchmaking bulletin board today.
User profiles now show whether you are S or M, male or female and your location in the "Memberlist" section!
So now you can easily scan down the whole BBS "MemberList" to quickly find the type of person you are looking for without having to open up each profile seperately!
Also, a new 'about myself' section was also added in the user profile details so you can tell BBS visitors more about yourself!
So if you use the BBS, please update your profiles with this new information, then everyone can find you easily and write to you!

Thank you to everyone who made THE GATE on 6/18 such a wonderful event!
THE GATE once again filled all floors of the house in La Scala, and as well had so many fun guests and the most exciting courteous crowd at a TKS event ever!
By moving the cloak and entrance to the basement, the 1F area was less crowded, and became a much more comfortable lounge space and dungeon area this time! We plan to make a private change area for the men next time, as well as expand the change area for ladies!
Thank you to all the performers and DJ's last night! Comments so far on the music and shows have been so positive! Momoka's WWII seppuku show was beautiful, tearful and touching. 86B210 are such amazing dancers...so incredible, sexy and erotic, and so....great! Finally, Ueno and Tomoko's lady death and burial ikebana art show was so innovative, cool and such a leading edge performance!
DJ's Stealth and Young Richard rocked the house all night long, making for a night full of great vibes and atmosphere!
Thank you to Slave Guenfer for building the new 1F dungeon piece for the 6/18 party! It was very fun! We will be again expanding the dungeon area with even more interesting equipment for the upcoming autumn party!
Finally, thanks so much to the staff of La Scala for their kindness, excellent staffing and for once again letting us use their wonderful club for our event. They are so great!

As TKS continues to grow, and our events become bigger and more frequent, it has become more difficult for everyone to stay in contact with each other!
So today we announce the new TKS Bulletin Board system!
TKS is a non profit organization and all parts of the BBS are completely free. There are no 'pay areas' or 'pay member' sections anywhere in the BBS. The BBS is completely free for the community to use, and it will stay that way permanently.
There, you can post messages, chat, event announcements and anything related to SM and Fetish as well as meet new partners and playmates!
It is a great way to stay in touch with TKS as well as members of the Japan SM/fetish community. You can reach the BBS by selecting "BBS" on the left sidebar of the TKS website at www.tksociety.com!
There is also a new SM and fetish matchmaking personals section as well as general SM / Fetish chat!
See the BBS page itself for instructions on posting rules and how to use it.
The BBS is divided into two sections, a Japanese section, and an English section, which are completely seperated. To post on each, you will need to get user accounts (free) on both the English system and the Japanese system. January 29 "THE GATE" party fills all 3 floors of Roppongi's club La Scala!
Thank you to everyone who came to THE GATE on January 29, 2005, and to the excellent DJ staff and performers who made such an amazing evening and the best TKS event so far in our history!
Thank you also to the staff of Club La Scala, for letting us use their fantastic party space, and being open minded to let us have this sort of event right in the center of Roppongi. La Scala is a great club for TKS and our events, and we look forward to a bright future with them, having more great events there in the coming months!
We had a full attendance night and filled club La Scala to capacity on all three floors! The 5 shows that ran were fantastic and the 3 amazing DJ's on several floors played brilliantly throughout the evening, making this the best and largest of any TKS Dresscoded SM/Fetish nightclub event so far in Japan!
As it got busy very early on this time, we appreciated very much the patience of all of you when it got crowded at the door, causing backups of people waiting outside in front of the club. We plan to greatly improve the costume check/entrance process for the next event so it goes much faster and people will not have to wait in line outside when things get busy.
SHOWS, MUSIC AND SPACES:
The shows were wonderful! Mistress Dada and her team returned to THE GATE with a wonderful French Maid SM performance. Thank you Dada, Joshua and Charlotte! Dragon's avant guard ero-dance performance was so innovative and stylish. It was excellent! Ottimogirl seduced us with her beautiful belly dancing performance, and the first ever TKS oil wrestling competition was a wild success! And we can never forget Mistress Dia's wonderful lady on lady bondage seduction performance and choreography.. audience members said watching it was like bringing a piece of heaven to here on earth!
Thank you to DJs Young Richard and Raijin who brought the house down on the 2F main dance floor, as well as to DJ Stealth who in addition to being the event music manager for the evening, brought us a wide range of excellent experimental mixes on 1F all night long!
The Chillout space on 3F and the dungeon on 2F were great successes and will be coming back at our next event! We will also keep our strict dresscode-only rule (enforced, about 20 people were refused entrance to THE GATE for arriving in casual dress, jeans or street clothes at the door. Please come back next time in proper dress and it would be a pleasure for you to attend our events!). TheNo-Camera/Video policy will also remain to make a safe and exciting party space!
FOR THE NEXT PARTY:
As
THE GATE is in
central Roppongi now, there were a couple incidences of undesireables
entering / attempting to enter the event from surrounding clubs after
excessive drinking. As a result, certain new stricter door control
measures will be in place at future events in order to maintain a safe
and high quality party space at THE GATE.
- We will be watching for those arriving from pre-parties or other nearby clubs under the influence of excess amounts of alcohol and they will be refused entry / ejected immediately.
- In order to maintain high quality for the event and its participants, we will be implementing a more clarified / much stricter dresscode for men.
Other additional
improvements for the next event will also include:
- A more efficient, faster entrance and costume check process to avoid door lineups.
- Expanded dungeon space and equipment!

July 31 "The Gate" party a great success!
On July 31, 2004, we had the largest turnout ever at a TKS / Tokyo Fetish Ball event!
Thank you to everyone who came to Aoi Heya and made it such a great party! TKS/The Gate is rapidly becoming Japan's top Fetish - SM hardcore nightclub event!
Thank you to all TKS and Aoi-Heya staff members who worked during the evening, particularly when it got very crowded. We couldn't have done it without you!
As we completely filled Club Aoi-Heya this time, we plan to move the party to Roppongi's La Scala, an even larger club with more space as well as have greatly improved sound, music selection and DJ services for the next party to be held on January 29, 2005.
The new playroom was a great success, we will be adding to it as well making many other improvements to the party based on feedback we got on July 31 (see below).

Full dresscode adherance by everyone in attendance (enforced - regrettably 8 people were refused admission to 'The Gate' on July 31, for arriving in street clothes.. please come back in dresscode at the next party and we'll welcome you in open arms!)).

Thank you to all of you who attended the last Tokyo Fetish Ball in November 2003!
It was a very successful event, and we couldn't have done it without all of you who attended. It was great to see such a good turn out!
Thank you to Mistress Dada for producing what was probably one of the most beautiful and artistic SM/suspension shows we have ever seen in Tokyo, and to her slaves, dominatrixes and live musicians who worked with her put on that amazing show.
The costumes of all the guests were terrific! Stylish guys and many many beautiful very sexy ladies! The no camera and strict dresscode rule was very successful, and everyone could get into the party and SM and play action afterwards!
We will keep the dresscode and no camera rules at future parties, and be enforcing it just as strictly as well, since this seems make a really good atmosphere in the party.
If you have any ideas/suggestions of things you liked/would like to see at the next TFB, just write us, we would like to hear it and will try to use the ideas to improve the next TFB party!
Thank you to all the slaves and buyers of the first open Slave Auction in Tokyo, and for the fantastic SM and play party that resulted after the slaves were sold!
